Product Introduction: The PDO product leverages native Shell technology, with an annual production capacity of 72,000 tons. It is produced using ethylene oxide as the raw material. Compared to biofermentation processes using glucose, glycerol, and other sources, the ethylene oxide-based production process boasts greater stability, fewer impurities, lower costs, and higher product purity. It also exhibits strong batch-to-batch consistency, making it ideal for high-end polyester synthesis. As a key monomer in PTT polymerization, PDO significantly enhances the elasticity, softness, and stain resistance of materials, making it widely used in high-performance fibers and engineering plastics. Additionally, due to its excellent moisturizing properties, PDO can be incorporated into cosmetic formulations as a humectant. Furthermore, our company employs bioethanol to produce syngas, which in turn enables the manufacture of bio-based PDO, thereby meeting the diverse needs of different customer segments.
