Physical and Chemical Properties: Isobutane is a colorless gas at normal temperature and pressure with a slightly unpleasant odor. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ether, ethanol, chloroform; relative density (water=1): 0.58; melting point (°C): -187.6; boiling point (°C): -42.1; flash point (°C): -104; upper explosion limit %(V/V): 9.5; lower explosion limit %(V/V): 2.1; saturated vapor pressure (kPa): no data; vapor density (air=1): 1.56. Extremely flammable.

Packaging and Storage: Isobutane is packaged in dry, clean steel cylinders or pressure tanks, stored in a cool, dry, clean place, keeping containers sealed and placed in a ventilated area.

Packaging Specifications: The filling amount of steel cylinders or tanks should consider the total volume of the cylinder or tank and the volume expansion caused by temperature and other factors during transportation of liquid isobutane. Storage and transportation of the product should comply with the relevant regulations of the People's Republic of China on the storage and transportation of dangerous goods by railway, highway, and waterway.
